New York City, and Harbour, have been mysteriously transported back 80 million years to the Cretaceous period. A period where dinosaurs rule over the land, sea, and sky. The Earth is primitive, young, and Pangea is in its second phase of seperation. With the appearance of bees - plants and angiosperms start to flourish, and the weather has settled on temperate. It's a crucial time in Earth's natural evolutionary history.
Why and how, has NYC become the newest victim of time-travel field trips gone wrong?
Skrulls. Rather than hunt down everyone of interest and give away their return to Earth - they've promptly been collecting and sending them into the past - taking their places in the future. As if relocating a city through time wasn't impressive enough; time travel itself seems to be prohibited. Also? They've managed to raise the dead, in the non-zombie way.
Outside the city it's beautiful, untouched, primeval and dangerous. Nevermind facing your arch nemesis — there's an Allosaurus more than ready to gobble both of you up for lunch.
